We are looking for a technical co-founder – someone who enjoys building hands-on today, and ideally has the ambition to grow into a CTO role over time.
About the Role
As the lead developer, you’ll be responsible for building the technological foundation of our platform. We’re working with a modern Java stack (Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud-native), based on microservices and a scalable architecture. You will take the lead in development and gradually grow into a CTO position, where you’ll define the technical roadmap, build a team, and shape the long-term vision.
You’ll collaborate closely with the founding team on both technical execution and strategic decisions such as fundraising, scaling, and achieving product-market fit.
What You’ll Do
- Develop a scalable platform using Java, microservices, and cloud technologies
- Set up DevOps infrastructure (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Contribute to architecture, product vision, and key technical decisions
- Collaborate with the founders on roadmap, funding, and go-to-market strategy
- Progressively grow into a CTO role, leading the future development team
- Present the technical vision to investors and key stakeholders
Who You Are
- At least 5 years of experience as a software developer, with a strong focus on Java / Spring Boot
- Experience with modern software architecture: microservices, containerization, REST APIs
- Familiar with cloud platforms like AWS and preferably Azure
- Solid understanding of Agile and DevOps principles
- Ambitious, entrepreneurial, and ready to build something impactful from the ground up
- Strong communication skills, also towards non-technical stakeholders
- Bonus: Experience in a start-up or scale-up environment
